Preliminary integrated control basis

2–4Initial LoRaWAN gateways, subject to radio survey
100–200Preliminary sensor and control nodes
40–80Preliminary electric or solenoid irrigation valves
3–6Preliminary pump PLC/VFD panels

Quantities are a preliminary design basis from the supplied concept. Final zoning, gateway positions, valve quantities, sensor density and pump controls require site survey and review of the existing hydraulic and electrical systems.

Frequently asked questions

Can the system work without cloud access?

Critical pump, valve and environmental controls can use local PLC or RTU operation with buffered data and manual fallback.

Are sensor quantities fixed?

No. Quantities and positions depend on production zones, terrain, water network, radio coverage and required control accuracy.

Can existing irrigation equipment be reused?

Yes, after condition, capacity, interfaces and safe operating limits are verified.

Can livestock positioning use LoRa?

Yes, when tag, beacon and gateway coverage, battery cycle, accuracy and retention are confirmed for the site.

Are savings guaranteed?

No. Water, energy or labor improvements require an approved baseline and measured verification.
